Olivier Crespin joined DBS in July 2010 as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for DBS Private Bank. Shortly after, his responsibilities expanded to cover the wealth management and consumer banking businesses. Olivier was appointed the Group Head Digital Bank, DBS Bank in March 2014.
In April 2016, DBS has launched Digibank India, a first mobile only, completely paperless, signatureless, branchless bank using ground breaking technology from biometrics to artificial intelligence.
In Jul 2016, DBS Bank hs been named the World’s Best Digital Bank by finance magazine Euromoney at its annual awards for excellence. Prior to joining DBS, Olivier was Citibank’s Global Head of operations for Private Banking. Concurrently, in his global role, he was International Head of Smith Barney’s Operations.
Olivier’s career started with BNP (Banque Nationale de Paris) Argentina where he was Director of Sovereign Debt Administration (Brady Plan). During his career, Olivier has held different business and operational positions across Europe, Latin America, Asia and North America.
Olivier is well versed in English, French and Spanish and has wide international exposure. His public service awards included “Singapore most supportive boss” by the Singapore Sports Council and “Singapore H.E.A.L.T.H. Leader” by the Health Promotion Board. Olivier was appointed as Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) fellow. Olivier is also on the list of Asian Banker Leading Practitioners.
Olivier has a “Maitrise en Droit” Master Degree in Law from University of Metz (France). H resides in Singapore with his wife and three daughters.
A start up artist, who pioneered business intelligence in the 1970s, Dr. John Vong introduced cashless banking in 1980s, published the EAGLES benchmark that forewarned the Asian financial crisis in 1990s, brought best practice banking in the Mekong Region in 2000s, and started finTech in the 2010. At Cards & Payments Indonesia 2016, John going to review the Asin fintech “experiments” for financial inclusion in emerging markets, and looking ahead towards closing the equality gap for the unbanked population.
John has a PhD in data intelligence, an MBA in finance, a bachelor’s in Economics, a certified practicing accountant, and undertaken professional development of the MIT-Harvard Consensus Building Institute.He received a HRM Lifetime Award in 2006 for contributing to the post-war development of the Civil Service of Timor-Leste.
Vishal Tulsian, based in Indonesia, has over nineteen years of career as a financial expert and intrapreneur, working in in several executive functions in large Corporations, within a strong multinational environment. He leads a Bank in Indonesia, Amar Bank, which is reinventing itself as a Digital Bank. He successfully launched a FinTech product, Tunaiku.com, that enables unsecured borrowing up to around USD 1000 within a day.
He has set the vision of the Bank ‘to bring smiles on 200 million faces by 2025’, which is to be achieved through financial inclusion. Vishal Tulsian is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries and Costs and Works Accountant. He has done his Masters from University of Liverpool, U.K and Executive Management Program from Harvard Business School.
Vishal Harnal is a Partner at 500 Startups, a global venture capital firm and accelerator based in Silicon Valley with US$250M under management. 500 Startups is the world’s most active early-stage investor with a portfolio of over 1,600 companies across 50 countries.
Vishal is based in Singapore where he leads and scales 500 Startups’ investments, expertise and operations across South-East Asia. In two years, the South-East Asia focused 500 Durians fund has invested in over 115 of the region’s most talented, passionate founders and promising, high-growth startups including flagships Grab, Carousell, Bukalapak, KFit and 99.co.
Prior to joining 500, Vishal was a lawyer at Asia-Pacific’s top law firm Drew & Napier practicing dispute resolution. In that role, he advised and represented conglomerates and governments on some of the world’s most complex, high-stakes and sensitive commercial and political issues.
Takeshi Ebihara has been in the industry 20 years as Venture Capitalist, as well as serial entrepreneur himself. His career started 1994 at JAFCO, one of the largest Venture Capital firms in Japan.
He has also founded and managed several internet companies himself includes stock-ex listed public company. In his spare time, he is mentoring at many accelerators, speaking for a lot of startup events to contribute startup ecosystem. Takeshi is a board member of many startup companies in SE Asia and Japan.

In 2012 at Tesco he launched the ecommerce business in 9 markets across Central Europe and South East Asia within two years. while being responsible for driving brand presence and revenue performance across 10 international territories through his expertise in eCommerce, Digital, Social Media & Personalisation. In 2010 at Marks and Spencer he was responsible for the annual online trade.
Rizkie Maulana Putra, 29 years old, Head of E-commerce Development at Samsung. His experiences in various big player start-up companies such as ; Lazada, Jingga Mall, and Acommerce Asia already gave Rizkie the ability, skill, and experience of a qualified sales, partnership, and business development especially in the online business industry.He has applied the high-level online marketing strategy and key growth strategies in increasing sales & marketing in every company he held both at national and international levels.
He graduated as the Magister Science of Management at the University of Indonesia, he also actively serving as Chairman of the Abang None Jakarta since 2014. He was also active in political discussions on television and is a frequent speaker at national television show to discuss the development of e-commerce and its benefits for society.
With his passion on social and understanding of the world of e-commerce that he had, Rizkie also founded a start-up charity website which is planned to go live at the end of 2016. These experiences make Rizkie as an e-commerce expert in online business industry.
