We recently caught up with Fabian Wandt from South East Asia’s leading e-commerce business, Lazada. Fabian is the COO of Lazada and LeL Country Manager for Lazada Group Vietnam. In our conversation, Fabian reveals what he will be talking about at the Seamless Vietnam show and what needs to be done to facilitate Vietnam’s e-commerce growth.
Could you share something about yourself with our readers?
I am the COO at Lazada & LeL Country Manager of Lazada Group (Vietnam). I joined Lazada in the early days back in April 2012 and I am responsible for the overall operations of Lazada Vietnam and in charge of Lazada’s e-Logistics. Before joining in Lazada Vietnam, I was an in-house consultant at DHL Singapore for 1 year and logistics supervisor at Frankfurt airport for 1 year. Lazada is the leading online shopping mall in South East Asia with operations in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Could you give our readers a quick teaser on what you will be speaking at the show?
During the event I will be sharing my opinion on the future of click & collect in Vietnam and the trend of O2O.
Why are you excited to attend the show?
I am excited to attend Seamless Vietnam because Vietnam’s e-commerce market has a huge potential to grow triple digits over the next few years. Only by connecting experts in different segments of the e-commerce industries will we be able to facilitate such a growth. This event will hopefully enable strong partnerships to be built to allow us all to overcome daily challenges and smoothen the pathway for a continuous growth and happy customers.
Fabian Wandt is one of over 50 speakers who will be taking the stage over two days at Seamless Vietnam. To find out more, and to book your tickets, check out our website here.
