We recently caught up with Bo Kristensen the GM for Chope Thailand. In our conversation, Bo reveals what he will be speaking about at Seamless Thailand and why this topic is close to his heart.

Could you share something about yourself with our readers?


I have worked for 25 years with business development and management within the fields of information technology, telecommunications, software development and internet communication.

For the last 16 years I have been in Asia, overseeing complex sales operations and participating in full spectrum business development.

I have specific experience in the social commerce and O2O industry, where I have obtained extensive knowledge of the dynamics of the marketplace and the challenges and opportunities of enduring a new regional market.

Could you give our readers a quick teaser on what you will be speaking about at the show?

I will be talking about what are the best ways to reach users/clients today online, particularly with a focus on the new vehicle drivers, such as social video marketing as the next big thing.

Why is this topic close to your heart?

It is very much related to my current business, I believe that in the current jungle of newsfeed and non-targeted info spread, the combination of content and targeting is vital.

What do you think the key challenges are around the future of retail in Thailand?(/h4)

The main challenge is that online payment penetration still very low.

Why are you excited to join the show?

I’m excited to meet other entrepeneurs in the industry and share best practices, and despite being an old chap in the Industry, I never cease to learn.
