Could you share something about yourself with our readers?Pao

My name is Pao Siddhigu. I am the co-founder of FITCRAZE THAILAND, an online e-commerce platform that sells local & international active wear brands and sport accessories for women and men. I am working on the business development part of the company , looking through marketing and strategies. Before Fitcraze I worked in Retail & Digital Marketing and interned as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Rocket Internet, Shanghai before starting this company.

Could you give our readers a quick teaser on what you will be speaking about at the show?

I will be speaking about Pop Up stores, whether it is a promising choice for online retail to test their market before opening official flagship or permanent physical stores. The talk will also involves how brands can utilise the benefits of pop up store and create a memorable shopping experiences for their customers through customer service strategies and streamline customer journey from online to offline and vice versa.

Why is this topic close to your heart?

I think that I can share my own experiences of FITCRAZE Pop Up store and how the pop up store helps us to connect more with our customers as well as our brand suppliers

What do you think the key challenges are around the future of retail in Thailand?

The main key challenges are the big players and international e-commerce companies that are coming to the country such as JD.COM, Amazon or  Facebook Marketplace. I can see big department stores such as the Central Group starting to get themselves heavily involved with online shopping by acquiring Zalora and Joint Venture with  JD.COM. In a way, this could effect a lot on smaller  e-commerce platforms. Therefore, we have to find a way to personally connect with our target customers and enrich unique brand  value and experiences in order to stay in business. The current economy as a whole is also worst than last year, where customers think more before they buy and most consumers have lower spending power and savings.

Why are you excited to attend the show?

I believe that I could share my own experiences with the people who attend the show as well as learning from the other talented speakers. I really appreciate the invitation for FITCRAZE to join the talk as it shows that Seamless Asia opens the stage for young entrepreneurs to share our own thoughts and ideas. Really looking forward to attending the event!
